Membership & Fees

 

The Central Texas Historical Association has several different membership options, which are listed below. Membership may be paid online by credit card, or if you prefer, the Membership Mail-In Form (below) and your payment may be sent to the CTHA Office by mail.  Please send either check or money order if mailing your dues. 

 

Annual membership in the Association is valid from January 1 to December 31.  All Membership dues (with the exception of Life, Silver Star, and Gold Star members) are payable/renewable on January 1 of each year. Any dues paid between January 1 and October 31 will be applied to the current fiscal year, and payments received between November 1 and December 31 will be applied to the following fiscal year, unless otherwise specified by the member.

Definitions of Membership Levels

 

Regular Membership ($35.00)

Regular members receive a subscription to Central Texas Studies: Journal of the Central Texas Historical Association, all benefits entitled to regular members of the association, and a copy of the program for the annual conference.  All benefits of Regular Membership are for one adult.

 

 

Family Membership ($45.00)

Family members receive one subscription to Central Texas Studies: Journal of the Central Texas Historical Association, all Regular Membership benefits for two adults and all accompanying children under 18 years of age. 

 

 

Student Membership ($15.00)

Student members receive all benefits entitled to Regular Membership at a discounted rate with proof of student status. [must have valid/current Student I.D.]

K-12 Educator Membership ($25.00)

K-12 Educator members receive all benefits entitled to Regular Membership at a discounted rate. Also, you will receive special invitations to attend CTHA Professional/Faculty Development Workshops and Conferences.

 

 

Sustaining Membership ($100.00)

Sustaining members receive all benefits entitled to Regular Membership and a gift of appreciation from the association.  Sustaining Members will be listed in the Central Texas Studies: Journal of the Central Texas Historical Association.

 

 

Institutional Membership ($60.00)

This is a great option for organizations, businesses, schools and libraries. Institutional members will receive a copy of Central Texas Studies: Journal of the Central Texas Historical Association, a copy of the program for the annual conference, and will be listed in the Central Texas Studies: Journal of the Central Texas Historical Association.

 

 

Life Membership [Individual Members Only] ($400.00)

Life members will receive all benefits entitled to Regular Membership for the life of the individual registered as the Life Member.  The life member will also receive a gift of appreciation from the association and will be listed in the Central Texas Studies: Journal of the Central Texas Historical Association.

 

 

Silver Star Membership ($1000.00)

Silver Star members will receive all the benefits entitled to Regular Membership for the life of the individual registered as the Silver Star Member.  The Silver Star member will also receive a gift of appreciation from the association, a Silver Star lapel pin, free registration to all Central Texas Historical Association events (annual conferences and educational symposiums) for a period of two years.  In addition, Silver Star members will be invited to a special reception held in honor of Silver and Gold Star members at the annual conferences.  Silver Star members will be listed in the Central Texas Studies: Journal of the Central Texas Historical Association.

 

 

Gold Star Membership ($2000.00)

Gold Star members will receive all the benefits entitled to Regular Membership for the life of the individual registered as the Gold Star Member. The Gold Star member will also receive a gift of appreciation from the association, a Gold Star lapel pin, free registration to all Central Texas Historical Association events (annual conferences and educational symposiums) for a period of four years.  In addition, Gold Star members will be invited to a special reception held in honor of Silver and Gold Star members at the annual conferences. Gold Star members will be listed in the Central Texas Studies: Journal of the Central Texas Historical Association.
